Flashchat with DreamWakers and Girls Inc. of the Washington, DC Metropolitan Area

Dr. Gamble-George has been invited to speak at a flashchat series that will be held on July 13, 2022 at 2:15 PM ET. Dr. Gamble-George will talk about how she found research opportunities as a high school student, what a typical day in her life looks like as a scientist, and her personal and professional journey in the healthcare field. The event is sponsored and hosted by DreamWakers, an organization that partners with 4th- to 12th-grade classrooms at rural and systemically under-resourced schools and educational programming nationwide to provide virtual connection with role models from diverse backgrounds, identities, and perspectives beyond their city limits, and by Girls Inc. of the Washington, DC Metropolitan Area (“Girls Inc. DC”), a local Girls Inc. affiliate that inspires all girls in DC region to be strong, smart, and bold through direct service and advocacy opportunities.
