Dr. Gamble-George has been featured in ASBMB Today, a member magazine of the American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. In the “Member News” section of the ASBMB Today magazine, the article focuses on the IF/THEN Initiative, in which Dr. Gamble-George is an ambassador for. The article also discusses Dr. Gamble-George’s 3-D life size statue which was displayed in the NorthPark Center in Dallas, Texas as part of the #IfThenSheCan Exhibit, an exhibit of 120+ 3-D printed statues of contemporary female STEM professionals and role models from a variety of industries including entertainment, sports, business and academia. IF/THEN was founded on the belief that “IF we support a woman in STEM, THEN she can change the world.” It is a transformational initiative created and funded by Dallas-based Lyda Hill Philanthropies. Dedicated to closing the gender gap in STEM careers and inspiring the next generation of women innovators and pioneers, IF/THEN aims to activate a culture shift among young girls by providing them with women STEM role models.

I love to empower people to become thought leaders and STEAM/STEMM innovators. I served as an expert science advisor for scientists that study chronic heart and lung diseases, HIV, and mental health. I also co-founded a biotech IoT application and device development company. As a scientist, I conduct research related to brain diseases and disorders, such as Alzheimer's disease, anxiety and stress-related disorders, and substance use disorders.
