Dr. Gamble-George will be speaking at the Atlanta Science Festival on March 15, 2022, at 6:30 PM ET, as part of an interactive online panel discussion. The virtual event will feature successful women in various STEM careers from across the U.S. who all share one thing in common – they were featured in the largest display of female statues in the world through the #IfThenSheCan Exhibit. These phenomenal women will be covering topics like the plethora of opportunities in STEM, how to prepare for these types of careers, the importance of the female perspective in STEM, strategies to succeed in environments where you may be “the only one”, and many more – through an interactive virtual game. Don’t miss the opportunity to hear from these prominent STEM pioneers! The event is sponsored and hosted by the Atlanta Science Festival, which is a two-week celebration of local science and technology.

Dr. Gamble-George

I love to empower people to become thought leaders and STEAM/STEMM innovators. I served as an expert science advisor for scientists that study chronic heart and lung diseases, HIV, and mental health. I also co-founded a biotech IoT application and device development company. As a scientist, I conduct research related to brain diseases and disorders, such as Alzheimer's disease, anxiety and stress-related disorders, and substance use disorders.
